Our Mission

At grauxmusic.com, we stand on three non-negotiable pillars:

  1. Creator Credit – Producers and songwriters are always recognized.

  2. Royalty-Fair Licensing – Independent artists keep 100% of their income; royalties are triggered only when success goes major.

  3. Human-Made Sounds – All melodies are played by real musicians, never AI.


License Overview

Purchasing a guitar loop or sample from grauxmusic.com grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it in your music, subject to the terms below.


What You Can Do

  • Use GRAUX melodies in your original songs or beats.

  • Release, monetize, and sell instrumentals containing GRAUX melodies.

  • Keep 100% of your beat sales.


Credit Requirement

You must credit:
Producer: GRAUX (all caps)
Songwriter: Sébastien GRAUX

Include this credit in track metadata, liner notes, and public releases.
Example: Produced by GRAUX, Written by Sébastien GRAUX

Using GRAUX as a featured or main artist requires written approval.

Failure to credit within 14 days may result in:

  • Track takedown,

  • License renegotiation, and/or

  • Compensation equal to up to one-third of master revenue generated at the time of violation.


Royalty-Fair Terms

Independent Artists (< 1,000,000 streams)

  • Pay once, use non-exclusively, no royalties or publishing claimed.

Major Releases (> 1,000,000 streams or major label involvement)

  • GRAUX is entitled to:

    • A publishing share, and

    • 2% of master royalties.

  • Clearance required: mgmt@grauxmusic.com


Restrictions

You may not:

  • Resell, share, or redistribute GRAUX melodies.

  • Include them in sample packs, templates, or plugins.

  • Use them in NFTs, AI training, or blockchain projects.

  • Present GRAUX as a featured/main artist without written approval.


Sync Licensing

For TV, film, ads, trailers, games, or branded content → separate clearance required.


China-Specific Use

Releases in mainland China (DSPs, TV, etc.) require separate licensing.

Key License Terms

  • Non-exclusive – Other users may license the same melody.

  • Non-transferable – You cannot resell or gift the license.

  • Revocable – License may be terminated if terms are violated.
